In memoriam

If you're familiar with the children's series Good Dog Carl, then a face like Bogey's will easily place a smile on your face.

Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Bogey today as his sails were aloft with gusty winds ready to take him to a more peaceful land. A land where he will reunite with his old girl Sam and prance in the fields of pain free happiness he's never known. A land where people food never runs out and never makes a dog poop all over the livingroom carpet.

So sorry for everyone's loss. Sick or healthy, the loss of a good dog is tough. I recommend http://www.amazon.com/Dog-Heaven-Cynthia-Rylant/dp/0590417010/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1219794450&sr=8-1 as an outstanding read for any age at this time. In case the link doesn't work, that is "Dog Heaven" by Cynthia Rylant. It is excellent.
