Girl Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

Having had two cups of Nitro mixed with a fourth of Hazlenut during class tonight, I figured I'd pick at the crusty scab forming over this blog.

The big'ns are back in school, Allie in 3rd and Gilmore in kindergarten. Egan kicks it with his latest homey, Megan, most of the day most of the week while I am either studying or going to my practicum or class. We collectively kick it when I am home as, thanks to the hired help whom I could not appreciate any more than I do, I do not have to think about the laundry, the groceries, the cleaning, or the safety and well-being of my children while I'm away.

Yes, Jon is I am now paying someone to be Domestic Me while I master the art of social work.

Yesterday, as the kids and I went out to play hopscotch (which is mostly spent on creating the coolest hopscotch board ever), Allie exclaims, "Mom! You're cool and fun again!"
